For Managers

For the properties you manage.

We walk the property with you, lay out what needs work now and what can wait, and keep the wood and exteriors on a cycle so nothing gets to the rescue stage. Predictable budgets, no owner surprises.

We’re trusted with keys, gate codes, and empty houses, and we treat them that way.

“It was great working with Jon and the Magic Brush crew. They did an outstanding job on what could have been a very complicated project.”

Bryan Graboyes, Property Manager, Holo Holo Ku at Parker Ranch

Wood Refinishing

The wood that makes these homes what they are.

The wood that makes these homes what they are.

Big Island sun and salt air can break down a wood finish in as little as six months on the most exposed surfaces. We keep gates, entry doors, ceilings, and trim on the Sikkens (now ProLuxe) maintenance cycle, so the wood never needs rescuing.

The Team

Same company since 2002. Same standard.

Guy Nicholson started Magic Brush in 2002. Jon Hopkin painted for more than twenty years before moving to Kona in 2023, where he joined the company, learned the island side of the trade under Guy, and took it over. The standard never changed hands: the call gets returned, the start date holds, the lines come out clean.

“He cleaned up his work areas completely. So great to have work on our home done by a person who takes pride in his work, as Jon does.”
